How to Get Rid of Pinterest’s ‘Picked For You’ Pins

2nd Mar ' 17

Don’t you just hate those pesky ‘Picked For You’ pins on Pinterest? Those pins that persistently pop up ruining your otherwise beautifully curated news feed.

I have been using Pinterest since late 2011 and I always used to LOVE my news feed! It was full of pretty from all of the profiles I chose to follow. The people who inspire me, the brands and businesses I love. But then Pinterest decided it knew better!

Just like Facebook, it introduced an algorithm and started stuffing my news feed with Pins it thought I would like more…..wrong!

But don’t despair because being the Pinaholic I am, I know a way to get rid of them, and to reclaim your news feed returning it to the thing of beauty and inspiration it once was! (I wouldn’t be much of a Pinterest Expert if I didn’t 🙂) And the great news is it takes but a moment and couldn’t be easier!

Yesterday was one of those days! You know the ones Yesterday was one of those days! You know the ones, they creep up on all of us entrepreneurs occasionally. It was a day where everything seemed wrong, I found myself filled with self doubt, regrets and if onlys. A sense that I'd missed every opportunity and ended up down the wrong road.
This morning though I enjoyed a lovely long walk, under bright blue skies with the puppa; breathing in joy, gratitude and contentment.
When I got to my desk I felt a new sense of clarity, created a to do list for the next 6 weeks, I knocked out a 1000 word post and drafted an email template, all in 3 hours :) It's amazing what fresh air and exercise can do for motivation and the mind! #busybirdandco 📸 Will Fuller via @unsplash

We even put our tree up today 🎄But, I still can't get used to Christmas being in the Summer (and it has been ☀️ here recently) Even after 6 years, I miss the crisp mornings, short days and sparkly lights of England - jandals, BBQs and pavlova just aren't the same. There's only one thing guaranteed to get me in the holiday spirit, indulging in an evening of Love Actually - and a glass of sherry! ☺️ ・
